Tuition Exemption

Any person 60 years of age or older who registers for three or less undergraduate* credit hours per semester may do so at no charge except for the Technology fee, Academic Excellence fee, Operational fee, Building Use fees, Energy fee, Records and Evaluation fee and any course-specific fees such as laboratory fees or online learning fees. Credit hours enrolled by such individuals in excess of three hours will require payment of normal tuition rates. This policy shall apply only to courses and programs for which regular tuition is charged. Courses enrolled through special pricing programs (ie. online degree programs, online RN to BSN, CompleteLA) are not eligible for this waiver. To request your waiver, please email University Connection upon scheduling your course(s). This must be requested each semester of enrollment. The Bursar's office does not grant waivers retroactively. 

*Three or less graduate hours per semester will also be assessed the Graduate fee and Graduate Enhancement fee.
