Program Overview
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is giving high school students an early start on their college education. Students who have completed their junior year have the opportunity to earn college credit through the High School Dual Enrollment Program.
2024-2025 Program Eligibility*
Must be on track for completing TOPS Core Curriculum
AND
Hold a high school cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher using an unweighted 4.0 scale
AND
Attain qualifying scores. Please refer to the 2024-2025 criteria for all qualifying scores
AND
Senior status (students are eligible to enroll on UL's campus starting summer after Junior year)
Students must meet all requirements in the 2024-2025 criteria in order to be considered for admission.

2024-2025 Tuition Cost
- $200 per three-credit face to face course
- $300 per three-credit hybrid/online course (if available)
- Textbooks, course fees, and parking are not included in tuition costs and will be the responsibility of the student
Course Limitations

Dual Enrollment students schedule courses along with traditional college students. Enrollment is based upon open seats.

Students may schedule up to seven (7) credit hours per academic semester

All students must meet all co-requisite and pre-requisite requirements

Students are not permitted to schedule Honors courses

Students are not permitted to schedule University 100 (UNIV 100)

Students are not permitted to schedule major-restricted courses (ie. Engineering or Nursing)
