The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is giving high school students an early start on their college education. Students who have completed their junior year have the opportunity to earn college credit through the High School Dual Enrollment Program.
2017-2018 Program Eligibility
Must be on track for completing TOPS Core Curriculum.
Have a high school GPA of 2.75 or higher using an unweighted 4.0 scale.
Have ACT test scores of a 19 in Math and an 18 in English and a 21 composite
2017-2018 Tuition Cost
- $200 per three credit course, up to a maximum of six credit hours.
- Textbooks, parking, and course fees are not included and are to be paid by the student.
Students schedule courses along with traditional college students. Enrollment is based upon open seats.
Students can register for up to 6 credit hours per academic semester.
All students need to meet all co-requisite and pre-requisite requirements.
Students are not allowed to schedule online and/or hybrid courses.
Limitations to courses are as follows:
In order to take freshman English (English 101), students must have scored 18 on the English portion of the ACT.
In order to take College Algebra (Math 105), students must have scored 21* on the math portion of the ACT.
